Taltarni Vineyards represents excellence in creating stylistic wines that distinctively express varietal character, regionalism and eclectic winemaking.

Established in 1969 and purchased in 1972, Taltarni is a founding winery of Victoria’s Pyrenees. The name Taltarni, meaning red earth, aptly describes the iron rich red soil of the Pyrenees wine region.

Taltarni has an exemplary family of internationally renowned wines including its Estate Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, latest release Reserve Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon and acclaimed vintage sparkling Brut and Brut Taché. Taltarni further showcases regional terroir and quality winemaking with its Three Monks Cabernet Merlot and unique Fumé Blanc (Sauvignon Blanc) and innovative, exceptional value T Series wines.

Taltarni also sources fruit from Victoria’s Heathcote wine region to craft one of Australia’s benchmark Shiraz wines and a category winner for the 2007 World’s Greatest Shiraz Challenge.
