Why Innocent Bystander?
Owners the Sexton family work with a group of winemakers and viticulturalists who eschew the bland direction and market dominance increasingly exerted by the large corporate winemaking groups. In a nutshell, they see themselves as Innocent Bystanders. The winery, located in the main street of Healesville, is built around gravity flow principles and designed for hand making small batches of wine. Inside the winery, the cellar door offers wood fired pizzas, house roasted coffee, house matured cheeses and a selection of craft beers on tap.
